Spanish Sling



 

The Singapore Sling was created in the early 20th century at Long Bar in the Raffles hotel in Singapore. The original recipe is attributed to Raffles bartender Ngiam Tong Boon and is a variant on the Gin Sling, a type of single-serving punch.



 

Ingredients


  • 3/4 ounce gin

  • 1/4 ounce Grand Marnier

  • 1/4 ounce cherry liqueur

  • 1/4 ounce herbal liqueur

  • 1 ounce pineapple juice

  • 1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed

  • 1 dash bitters

  • Club soda, to top

  • Garnish: Raspberry

  • Garnish: Black Berry


 

Steps


  1. Add the gin, Grand Marnier, cherry liqueur, herbal liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice and bitters into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  2. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice, and top with the club soda.

  3. Garnish with an Raspberry and Black Berry.
